For Yong-gu, a mentally challenged, his daughter Ye-seung is the most precious one in his life. One day, he follows a girl wearing the bag that Ye-seung wanted to get and witnesses a fatal accident that put the girl to death. Her father, the Police commissioner, frames Yong-gu for the rape and murder of a minor, intending to get revenge. Yong-gu can't get enough chance to defend himself and get imprisoned. His cellmates initially look down on him but gradually believe that Yong-gu didn't commit the crime. For their new cellmate who misses his daughter, the prisoners bring the most significant gift, Ye-seung, in their cell.
