The Monkey King: Havoc In Heaven's Palace [English Subtitle]

The film is adapted from the first eight chapters of Journey to the West and tells the story of Sun Wukong, who, incited by the Bull Demon King, rises up against the Heavenly Court. This triggers a fierce battle between the gods and demons for control of the Three Realms. Focusing on Sun Wukong’s path to immortality, the film depicts key events such as his forceful seizure of the Golden Staff and his misguided rebellion against heaven due to the Bull Demon King’s schemes. Seeking to help his wife and child return to the heavens, the Bull Demon King manipulates Sun Wukong to ignite the war between gods and demons, leading the Jade Emperor and the celestial host to confront the looming threat.
