The Legend of Taotie follows the story of two legendary figures in the city of Wuxia: the talented young chef Zhu Chengbi and the charming accountant Chang Qing. Together, they navigate thrilling events and uncover the stories and humanity behind various dishes. In a twist of fate, Prince Langya sets a trap to pit them against each other to extend his own life, leading to Zhu Chengbi transforming into a Taotie and consuming Chang Qing. Within the darkness, Chang Qing awakens Zhu Chengbi, allowing everything to start anew.
